| RAGA is a professional association dedicated to advancement of research in gender in agriculture established in the year 2008 |
|
|
- To promote knowledge and research on gender in agriculture for women empowerment.
- To encourage development of gender friendly technologies and practices and promote gender mainstreaming in agriculture.
- To encourage close coordination among the research workers, farmers, farm women, traders, processors and marketing agencies/ government organizations and non-government organizations (NGOs) with a view to providing support for over all growth of women in agriculture.
- To organize conference, symposium, seminar, brain storming session and group discussion to exchange views and publish its proceedings from time to time.
- To undertake the other activities to accomplish the above aims and objectives.
