Institute Farm: The 32 acre institute farm and the office-cum-laboratory building are maintained besides demonstration units under the research projects on horticulture based cropping models, fish seed production, integrated fish farming and entrepreneurship development. The lawns and periphery roads are repaired and maintained.
Micro irrigation/ Rain water harvest: Micro irrigation facility in 5 acres of land.
Poly/ Net House: A 15’ x 20’ poly house in the campus and activities are initiated for production of planting materials.
NADEP pit: NADEP for utilization of organic waste from the campus for production of organic manure.
Conservation of Germplasm: Three germplasm of pointed gourd collected and maintained in the poly house.
Demo units: Green house, Net house, Tissue culture laboratory, Zero energy cool chamber, NADEP pit, Mushroom unit, Vermicompost unit, Integrated fish-poultry-duck-unit, Mini hatchery, Ornamental fish unit, and various cropping system models.
Gender Database: Gender Knowledge Centre as a single window knowledge delivery system for the benefit of research workers, policy makers, extension workers, teachers and administrators.
E- connectivity: The broadband connection at a speed of 16 Mbps for round the clock internet connectivity over LAN.
Trainees’ Hostel: Trainees’ Hostel with nine air-conditioned rooms with 18 beds and one non-air-conditioned dormitory of 10 beds at a total plinth area of 548.68 sqm with facility of LCD TV in all the rooms.
Residential Quarters: 9 Residential Quarters in the campus consisting of 1 type VI, 2 type V, 2 type IV, 2 type III & 2 type II quarters.
Library: Twenty-eight journals pertaining to gender, women and agricultural science are available the Library. Six news papers including one daily news paper and two magazines in Raj Bhasha are subscribed. Library automation software with web OPAC is installed for easy retrieval and accessibility of books and journals in the library.
Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture (CeRA): The facility of e-Consortium of Agricultural libraries under Indian Council of Agricultural Research is available in the institute. It is a web based application facilitating online access and sharing of journal literature subscribed by the participating libraries of the consortia.
Software:
1. SAS: The facility of SAS software is available at Directorate of Research on Women in Agriculture. This was provided by Indian Council of Agricultural Research as a part of National Agricultural Innovation Project in order to strengthen the statistical computing for National Agricultural Research System.
2. SPSS: The facility of SPSS software is available at Directorate of Research on Women in Agriculture for analysis of data from social sciences.
Apart from all above there are centralized facilities such as AKMU, Gender Information System (GIS), Committee Hall, Conference Hall, Training Hall etc.
